Alberta Satellite Rebate Program
One-time rebate of up to $1,000 per eligible household for LEO satellite internet hardware, installation, and applicable taxes.
Who is eligible
Eligible Alberta households in rural/remote locations without high-speed broadband and not served by government-funded broadband expansion projects (check eligibility map). Owners and renters eligible; one rebate per household. Business satellite purchases are ineligible.

One-time rebate of up to $1,000 per eligible household for LEO satellite internet hardware, installation, and applicable taxes.
How to use it
Business purchases ineligible. Confirm location eligibility on the official map. Starlink kits currently meet technical requirements; buy hardware (not rental). Application after first month of service. Part of Alberta Broadband Fund Stream 3 household path.

Before you apply
- Most Alberta producer cost-share programs ask for a current Environmental Farm Plan. Start it first.
- Applications ask for site facts: water source, soil, wetlands, acreage, and the practice you plan. A free land report gives most of them for the boundary you draw.
