Typical nearby speed is that ISP’s nearby M-Lab NDT7 sample when at least three tests match. Otherwise it is the nearby sample for that internet type (fibre, cable, DSL, fixed wireless, satellite). It is not copied from the all-network median, and it is not a guarantee.

- Official hex listing is ISED provider + technology at the nearest National Broadband hex centroid.
- Typical nearby is that ISP’s nearby M-Lab NDT7 median when the sample is large enough. If not, it is the median for that internet type (fibre, cable, DSL, fixed wireless, mobile, satellite).
- M-Lab NDT7 distribution shows the spread of nearby tests as SVG figures. Filter by internet type, ISP, or both (for example TELUS fibre).
- Observed uptime is the share of nearby NDT7 tests that completed at ≥ 1 Mbps download (or ≥ 0.25 Mbps upload if download is missing). It is not a provider SLA and not a guarantee. M-Lab does not measure continuous availability.
- CIRA and Ookla are not mixed into this version.
