Who is eligible
Alberta agricultural producers (primary producer ≥$25k commodities, or approved Indigenous applicants) with EFP — when intake reopens. Confirm on official page before applying.

Official alberta.ca page: closed to new applications and not anticipated to reopen before September 2026. Do not market as currently open funding. Application processing for prior intakes may still be underway.

Before you apply
- Most Alberta producer cost-share programs ask for a current Environmental Farm Plan. Start it first.
- Applications ask for site facts: water source, soil, wetlands, acreage, and the practice you plan. A free land report gives most of them for the boundary you draw.
