Current FireSmart 2026 submissions were due Sept. 4, 2026 for the cited calls. Community Fireguard program has specific proponent classes and current focus on planning/construction pathways.

Before you apply

• Most Alberta producer cost-share programs ask for a current Environmental Farm Plan. Start it first.
• Applications ask for site facts: water source, soil, wetlands, acreage, and the practice you plan. A free land report gives most of them for the boundary you draw.
