CARI+ vs internet — Alberta dissemination areas
Every 2021 Alberta dissemination area (all 6,203) has a 24-hour emergency-access score. Higher CARI+ means worse geographic access to a hospital-based 24-hour emergency department. Use advertised 50/10 to plot the whole province; M-Lab measures are only available where a test exists. The box-and-whisker plot can use a log vertical axis. The mean±SD plot uses the arithmetic mean and SD on a linear axis, or the mean and SD of log10 values (geometric mean ×/÷ geometric SD) when log scale is on.
