Alberta CARI+ emergency access and measured broadband

This map covers all 6,203 Alberta dissemination areas from the 2021 Census. Each DA has a 24-hour emergency-access value: CARI+ scores (figshare 30721058; McGaughey and Peters, Canadian Geographies 2026) plus road-network minutes and kilometres to the nearest hospital-based 24-hour ED. Those scores are joined to M-Lab NDT measured download and upload speeds and ISED National Broadband Data 50/10 household-share bands. Use the map to look up emergency access and to compare rural internet performance.
